Synopsis:

Green Rose stars popular TV stars Ko Su (My Fair Lady) and Lee Da Hae (Lotus Flower Fairy) as a couple. Lee Jung Hyun (Ko Su) works for a large corporation called SR Electronics and he falls in love with Su Ah (Lee Da Hae), daughter of the company's chairman. Being framed for a murder case, Jung Hyun escapes to China where he meets a Chinese tycoon and becomes his right-hand man. In the name of a business venture with SR Electronics, Jung Hyun, with his name changed up...

A "Green Rose" stands for eternal love. A love that only appears in Heaven. This drama is about a man named Jang Joong-won who is framed for murder. Joong-won goes through many near-death situations where he escapes going to jail and flees to China. However, leaving Korea leaves a very large scar in his heart. He leaves the woman he loves, Soo-ah (Lee Da-hae).

When he returns to Korea, he focuses on one thing...that is revenge. He vows to find those who framed him for murder. He first goes after Cha Yoo-ran (Kim Seo-hyeong), the man who had lied in court opposing Joong-won...

 

Other Stuff:

** Green Rose was aired by SBS on March 2005 in Korea, so this must be Goo Soo's latest series.

** Lee Da Hae played Lee Dong Gun's ex-girlfriend, in Sweet 18. She won in the 2005 Baeksang Awards Best Newcomer, so I guess she well, she must be good.

** I Love Goo Soo!! I already loved him when I saw him in arirangtv's comedy sitcom, "My Funky Family" He was not only so so cute there, he was absolutely hilarious!! Believe me the guy can make you laugh!

**This new primetime series casts popular Korean TV stars Ko Soo as Jerome and 2005 Baeksang Awards Best Female Newcomer Da-Hae Lee as Angela. Jong-Hyuk Lee and Seo-Hyung Kim also play special parts in the program.

Korean series normally run for 20 hours, but "Green Rose" is exceptional since its producers decided to extend it to 22 hours because of the good feedback that the show garnered in Korea. In fact, a Japanese company recently acquired the broadcasting rights of "Green Rose" to air the popular series in Japan.

It's really nice, the music so inspiring and helps release stress. this time I am trying to copy it to an audio CD. talga great music and video. Up to now can not forget the TV series. Hi! hir im again, still have hang ups of Green Rose. Now im watching the rwind. At home, in my laptop i was able to download the music sent by one forum anne14344koreanlover. Thanks but the music is instrumental i like it though, but im seraching also for that soundtrck, where there's a singer in Korean. also, is the cd/dvd available already in music stores in Phils? I really lik to download the other OST, i know it'e a korean artist, instrumental too, it was played during the part of the drama where angela went back her father's room after Jerome talked to her outside secretly. The wirter, editor, plus cast even Geena and Edward are good actors. Talagang pinaghirapan. Ive seen pictures of Jerome rugged, but i prefer him in suit like chairman, Handsome kilig ako, everytime nagkikita sila ni Angela. Hope sila sweethearts ngayon. I can see a very promising movie career for both of them. Pls send my messages to them, hope they can read this. I work in a gov't office, and i really try to find time to watch the rwind of GR in our TV in the office!! lee Da hae is really beautiful, she's very feminine, sweet yet composed. I lke her style of acting hindi gaya ng ibe so loud. She's so simple yet very interesting to look at. So if you have that instrumental OST of GR, un 2 pa i dont know the title. Not the one played with "ave Maria". the one which sounded like a piano piece. Thank you.
