Japanese Cast Korean Cast Synopsis: Left alone on a trip to Hong Kong, Tomoko finds herself the victim of a purse-snatching. The police arrest the man she points out, but it turns out to be the wrong person: a young Korean man named Ji Hoon. Despite his anger and humiliation, he takes her out to dinner since she has lost all her money, and in return she agrees to model for his amateur film. What follows is a magical and romantic two days. Upon returning to their respective countries, Tomoko must return to her nine to five job and Ji Hoon must resume studying to join the family business rather than pursuing his dream of becoming a film director. But soon the two begin to email each other and rekindle their relationship despite the distance and obstacles between them. Marking the very first time in television history that a drama has been co-produced between Japan and South Korea, the story shows us that love has no borders. Tomoko Asai (Kyoko Fukada) is invited to go on a three-day trip to Hong-Kong with her colleague Yuko Yamagishi (Akiko Yada). But on reaching Hong-Kong, Yuko left Tomoko to be with her boyfriend who lived there. Tomoko is alone in Hong-Kong. She is not fluent in English, and to make things worse, her bag is snatched in the streets. Tomoko finally catches the thief and reports him to the police, but to her dismay it is the wrong person ... a young Korean man. What I Think: As much as I love Won Bin, I just didn’t like this series that much. This is such a letdown. The main leads have little chemistry or I don’t know, and the story is just lame. I saw this series first in cetv before, after I saw Autumn in my Heart. The main reason I watched this is because of won bin. I didn’t know then that lee dong gun is in this series. So when I knew that Ajushi don gun is in here, I just had to re-watch everything! And man with his perfect Japanese kanji translations of the emails and his guitar-playing stuffs, I saw Lee Dong Gun in his before-Korean-wave glory! J
Other Stuff: ** I have seen the mv of the series, it’s okay. Won Bin is in it, and anything with won bin in it is yummy! J The ost is called “One” I have the other version sung by Kyoko Fukada. I have not heard this other version by Lee So Jung. Kyoko Fukada’s voice is good, her English is okay too. One When I saw you for the first time PICTURES!!
