Left alone on a trip to Hong Kong, Tomoko finds herself the victim of a purse-snatching. The police arrest the man she points out, but it turns out to be the wrong person: a young Korean man named Ji Hoon. Despite his anger and humiliation, he takes her out to dinner since she has lost all her money, and in return she agrees to model for his amateur film. What follows is a magical and romantic two days. Upon returning to their respective countries, Tomoko must return to her nine to five job and Ji Hoon must resume studying to join the family business rather than pursuing his dream of becoming a film director. But soon the two begin to email each other and rekindle their relationship despite the distance and obstacles between them. Marking the very first time in television history that a drama has been co-produced between Japan and South Korea, the story shows us that love has no borders.
Tomoko Asai (Kyoko Fukada) is invited to go on a three-day trip to Hong-Kong with her colleague Yuko Yamagishi (Akiko Yada). But on reaching Hong-Kong, Yuko left Tomoko to be with her boyfriend who lived there. Tomoko is alone in Hong-Kong. She is not fluent in English, and to make things worse, her bag is snatched in the streets. Tomoko finally catches the thief and reports him to the police, but to her dismay it is the wrong person ... a young Korean man.
Thus, Tomoko and Kim Ji Hoon met under the worst possible circumstances. The innocent Ji Hoon is freed and they leave the police station together. Tomoko repeatedly apologizes to Ji Hoon who is angry and offended.
Ji Hoon was brought up in a strict Korean family. Though dreaming of being a film director, he feels obliged to live up to his family's expectations and inherit his father's company. Before doing so, Ji Hoon had come to Hong Kong to shoot a film as a memoir.
Since Tomoko has lost all her money, Ji Hoon is obliged to treat her dinner. In return, she offers to be a model for Ji Hoon's film. Though they can't communicate in words, as time unfolds they start to feel something for each other, and exchange a kiss in the nightscape of Hong Kong. It was an unforgettable two-day experience for the two.
Tomoko returns to daily life in Tokyo, to her everyday routine of going to and fro between home and her workplace. Ji Hoon also resumes studying to meet up to his parents' expectations, suppressing his dreams to be a film director.
One day, Ji Hoon receives an e-mail in Japanese. "Hello, this is Tomoko...." This is the beginning of their e-mail correspondence. Tomoko and Ji Hoon are gradually drawn to each other through their e-mail exchange, but various obstacles come in their way.
What is the outcome of their romance, which began in Hong Kong, moves to Seoul and finally to Tokyo?
What I Think:
As much as I love Won Bin, I just didn’t like this series that much. This is such a letdown. The main leads have little chemistry or I don’t know, and the story is just lame.
I saw this series first in cetv before, after I saw Autumn in my Heart. The main reason I watched this is because of won bin. I didn’t know then that lee dong gun is in this series. So when I knew that Ajushi don gun is in here, I just had to re-watch everything! And man with his perfect Japanese kanji translations of the emails and his guitar-playing stuffs, I saw Lee Dong Gun in his before-Korean-wave glory! J
Rating: 6.5 Korean kimchis out of 10
Other Stuff:
** I have seen the mv of the series, it’s okay. Won Bin is in it, and anything with won bin in it is yummy! JThe ost is called “One” I have the other version sung by Kyoko Fukada. I have not heard this other version by Lee So Jung. Kyoko Fukada’s voice is good, her English is okay too.
One Original Soundtrack
vocal by: Lee So Jung/ Kyoko Fukada
When I saw you for the first time
I knew you were the one
You didn't say a word to me
but love was in the air
When you held my hand
pulled me into your world
from then all of my life
has changed for you
now I never feel lonely again
'coz you're in my life
Love, how can I explain to you
the way I feel inside
when I think of you
I thank you for everything that you showed me
Don't you ever forget that I love you
Love, I know that someday will soon
you'll be right next to me
Holding me so tight
so I'll always be yours
although we can't be
together now
remember I am here for you
when I know you're there for me
Whenever I long to be with you
I just close my eyes and pretend you're here
I see you I touch you I feel you
I will
nothing can ever change
what I feel inside
How long must I be far away from you
I don't know dear but
I know we are one

Shinhwa, Becomes Models for 'Book Reading Seoul' Campaign How cute dongwan and andy looks here!!!
All six members of Shinhwa have become models for the Seoul Culture Foundation's 'Book Reading Seoul' Campaign increasing their existing star image as becoming the general public's icon leading the way of knowledgable society into the 21st century.
Although every member of group Shinhwa have such tight schedules individually to make a gathering at one time near impossible, all the members completely supported the Seoul Culture Foundation's goals to make a future where enjoying reading and discussing books could be a daily part of one's life through the 'Book Reading Seoul' campaign and thus all 6 members whole heartedly agreed to the project.
In particular, rather than just make trivial and mere perceptive trends as a public star, group Shinhwa who have always showed a young passion for life through their serious work on music and acting expressed their hope that their roles through the 'Book Reading Seoul' campaign, would have the youths that love them, create and spread the book reading culture.
For the day's filming Lee Minwoo had Lee Chul Soo's 'A Tree Leaf Letter', Shin Hyesung 'Jung Hae Seung's Science Concert', Eric had Seoul Culture Foundation's 'Seoul Right Now', Andy An Do Hyun's poetry and Kim Dongwan had Jung Hyun Jeng's poetry but throughout the filming all the members spent their time reading through the books they were each given, showing a strong interest in reading. In particular, Lee Minwoo who has shown off his lyric composing abilities emphasised that a music's creation's basic was also reading and a contented expression was on his face all throughout filming while reading through Lee Chul Soo's 'A Tree Leaf Letter'.
In this day and age where many stars no longer care about busying themselves on using their influence in positive ways, the way in which group Shinhwa knows how to donate their personal talents to a public society campaign and practice culture sharing makes us all look foward to this beautiful creation of a precedent, becoming something that can be followed and continued more from the entertainment industry.
Being one of the leading 'Korean wave' stars as well as the nations top group, if the monetary value of the 6 members of Shinhwa modelling for this campaign was calculated it would be a figure over 6 hundred million won. The group that knows how to donate a value of 6 hundred million won; Shinhwa's 'Book Reading Seoul' posters will be released during the summer vacation period of August in all Kyobo book stores nationwide.
The Seoul Culture Foundation have expressed their thanks to group Shinhwa through a testimonial that will be recieved on behalf of Shinhwa by Shinhwa's management, Good Entertainment.

Music Playing in the Background: Shinhwa- Leaving Behind Traces
Yehey my favourite Korean RnB duo is signing up with People Creative Entertainment!! At last they got a new management team, so now I can see them perform back on tv!! Wopee!I was so hyped up when I read in kpopper that YG Entertainment (My fave music label!!) is considering signing them up! Se7en, 1tym, wheesung, eddie and FTTS! How perfect would that be! When that happened, man! YG ent would be my most fave managment team! Most if not all YG artists I really dig, the rest of my fave artists from other compnies already... like shinhwa, god, hyori, J..But PCE is good enough. Hope they give them lots of PR and support! J
I’m thinking about SM entertainment…hehhe.. funny the acts I like in SM ent are, TVXQ/ DBSG, Boa kinda, that’s it. See? The only reason for me is just tvxq now. How funny would their summer album be without ftts now… so sad. All their frozen delight acts will be there prolly, like blackbeat, whom I just see in their summer album mvs, I have heard no records for Blackbeat.

Fly to the Sky Will Sign a Contract in Another Label
Fly to The sky will sign a contract with people creative entertainment (Not sure if I spelled it right, but that's what it said on the article). They will now be in the same entertainment with S.E.S's Eugene and bin. Ftts's fans wanted them to sign a contract with JYP or YG, but FTTS thinks people creative entertainment will give them a good support. Fly to the sky is the third group in SM to change the entertainment after HOT's Jang woo hyuk, lee jae won, tony ahn and Shinhwa. Now, all the groups from SM that debut in the 90's all left the SM entertainment, except for kang ta and moon hee jun. Now SM's only have Boa, dong bang shin gi,Cheon Sang Ji Hee, shoo, kang ta and moon hee jun left in SM.

Fly to the sky Parted with SM Entertainment
SM Entertainment, the entertainment affiliated with Fly to the Sky, has parted with the popular duo.
Debuting in 1999 with "Day by Day", Fly to the Sky ended their contract with SM Entertainment as of November 2004.
Last autumn, Fly to the Sky was making plans to enter a new entertainment such as Park Ji Young's JYP Entertainment or Yang Hyung Suk's YG Family. The duo has decided to choose whichever entertainment that will support their activities as artists. Their new offical entertainment has not been chosen yet.
Fly to the Sky, following HOT's Tony Ahn, Jang Woohyuk, Lee Jaewon, and SHINHWA, will now become SM's last group from the 90s to leave. SM Entertainment will still remain a strong entertainment with BoA, Dong Bang Shin Gi, and newcomers, Chun Sang Ji Hee.
