Summary:

What I Think:

I have seen summer Scent before, but I was not able to finish it because the scenes that I have seen seem to be dragging and boring. But I had a chance to watch it again on vcds so here goes.

I tried watching Endless Love 3: Summer Scent because I want to see Son Ye Jin here, that’s the main reason. I am not a big Song Seung Hun fan but since lots of my friends kinda like him, others think he is really gorgeous, so I thought okay I’d give this a try. Then I also want to check out Han Ji Ye, who is Lee Dong Gun’s girl I was curious about her too. I have no idea that Shin Ae was in this series!! She is Lee Minwoo’s  (of Shinhwa) girl! Woah those are lots of reasons! I love Son Ye Jin even more after Summer Scent but why are her characters in movies and series…why is it that these characters are always sickly? Son Ye Jin looks pretty frail you know but out of the main characters she and Park Jung Jae seem to have the best acting perfs.

Song Seung Hun, I really didn’t like the way he looked in Autumn in my Heart (I love Won Bin more! Hehhe!) but he looks way better in Summer Scent! So now, he looks okay to me and his acting was just so-so, he can be hard and wooden at times. Han Ji Ye was just annoying but glad that her character had a great ending! She’s tall; yeah she looks good with Lee Dong Gun! Mr Park!!! How I wish he ended up marrying Hae Won (Son Ye Jin) he looks so better than Song Seung Hun, he is strong, and intelligent. He is always in control; he can be romantic sometimes too, very dutiful and trusting.

The ending was just okay. And the soundtrack of the series is excellent! I love the fast-paced, happy song that’s played in their playful scenes, the one that goes “ Oh yes, just wanna be with you..”  I have to research on Mr. Park! Ryu Jin! He looks so dashing!

Out of the 3 4-season dramas that I have seen, this one is the weakest link. Song Seung Hun doesn’t seem to shout when he gets angry, doesn’t shed a tear when he looks sad and doesn’t laugh out loud when he looks happy. Unbelievable! Then is this just me or did Hae Won get heart surgery 3 times? She got Un Hye’s heart the first surgery, then the artificial heart the second surgery, then she said they went to the US to get another surgery…so it’s three right? More unbelievable!

My Sassy Girl

Summary:

My Sassy Girl is a movie based on a series of real-life incidents published on the Internet. Gyun Woo (Cha Tae Hyun) is a kind-hearted but at times naïve college student who seems to keep getting into trouble. On his way home one night, he encounters a beautiful but completely smashed young woman (Jeon Ji Hyun) who causes a scene in the subway, calls him "honey," and then passes out. With the eyes of the other subway passengers upon him, he has little choice but to take responsibility for her. Thus begins his relationship with the at-times charming, at-times violent damsel who steals his heart.

What I Think:

Long before I started watching Korean movies, my friends always tell me “You really have to watch My Sassy Girl it is such a beautiful movie!” and so I did and I loved it!

I liked it that Jeon Ji Hyun was really kicking acks here, but I also liked Gyung Woo and how he has fallen slowly in love with her.

The first cd was all-laughter; the second cd is a mix of laughing trips and crying fits. Some scenes I still remember are how Jeon Ji Yeon called Gyung Woo on his cell phone then he fakes the “The number you have dialed cannot be reached please try your call later.” Omg! Cha Tae Hyun, with his hard Korean accent, was hilarious! The scenes where Jeon Ji Yeon was on the hilltop and shouted to Gyun Woo (who was in another hill, far away and can’t hear her) all the things that she cannot tell him when he’s beside her, I cried a bucket of tears there! Another funny part was where Gyung Woo was sitting beside the tree, then we can see scenes changing and time passing, then shifts into the next scene, we see a really old man sitting where Gyung Woo was sitting before!  I was like What the?!! Holy cow don’t tell me that old man is Gyung Woo! Thank god it’s not him! I fell of my chair laughing!

Jeon Ji Yeon was really sassy and gutsy here! The scenes where she shouts at the hilltop, she did it well, she cries easily. Cha Tae Hyun was really good too. I like it when he pouts! He can be serious sometimes and ridiculously funny at times.

Here is my fave line of Gyun Woo that he said in the movie.

1. Don’t ask her to be feminine
2. Don’t let her drink over three glasses.
3. Drink coffee instead of coke.
4. If she hits you, act like it hurts, if it hurts, act like it doesn't.
5. On your 100th day, give her a rose during her class.
6. Learn fencing and squash
7. Be prepared to go to prison sometimes
8. If she says she'll kill you, don't take it lightly.
9. If her feet hurt, exchange shoes with her.
10. She likes to write, encourage her.

It's So Ji Sup!! Scream!! Some people could die just staring into those dreamy eyes. I don't get this guy, he looks weird in some pics but he can look good in others.And man was it so difficult just looking for his pictures...his more dreamy pictures coz he has lots of pics where he totally flumps it. heheh..
