Lee Min-su (Jo Han Sun) awakens early in the morning and, leaving the bed that he shares with a young woman, dresses for work. On the way he takes a call from a young woman who's falling in love with him but who he dials off from with a story about leaving the country and being en route to the airport. The girl that he leaves behind in the bed asks why he lied to her. "I didn't", he says, clearly doing so again. As he leaves for the office, a third lie escapes his lips, one in which he asks the woman with whom he's spent the night not to change her phone number so to call her the minute that he returns. Opening the door to go no further than to work, he says goodbye but, this time, he would appear to mean it.
On his way into the city where the games company that he owns with Kyung-min (Seong-guk Choi) has its office, he flirts with the driver of a sports car in the next lane but crashes into the back of the vehicle in front when the lights unexpectedly change. With Kyung-min worrying about the effect that whiplash might have on the value of the company, in spite of it crossing the all-important threshold of ten thousand simultaneous users of their online software, he persuades and drives Min-su to the hospital, unaware that his partner will treat it with none of the seriousness that it deserves. For Min-su, life is no more than a string of opportunities to meet women and to make money. And so it proves once again, with Min-su asking Kyung-min to stop to offer a lift to Han Hye-won (Choi Ji Woo) a lift to the hospital, where, through a coincidence it would appear, they both have appointments.
Parting at the door, Min-su finds that Hye-won has left her mobile phone in the car and through his charm, cockiness and not inconsiderable wealth, as well as her mobile handset, he goes about wooing her. But she's not awfully impressed, telling him that they will not be anything other than friends until he apologises to and earns the forgiveness of every woman that he's ever treated poorly. But in doing so, she keeps a secret from Min-su, one that he may not be able to forgive her for. At least not until they find a love that, at first, escapes them.
A lightly comic romance is, one imagines, a difficult type of film to successfully pull off. Make it too funny early in the film and the audience might refuse to come with the makers as they attempt to add moments of pathos. Make the scenes of heartbreak too plentiful and audiences might wonder if the comedy is entirely suitable. It may well be difficult to truly terrify an audience - note the number of horror films that fail miserably at doing just that - but one can argue that to strike the fine balance between comedy and tragedy is equally demanding, even of the finest filmmakers. As such, there's something of a celebration even if a film only gets some way there, as Richard Curtis did with the sometimes-mawkish Love, Actually but it's something that director Seong-jung Kim has accomplished with ease with Now And Forever.
Without giving much away, the fine comedy of the first third of the film gives away to utter sadness as Now And Forever plays out. Much happens in it that I won't describe here, nor have I described above, as Seong-jung Kim holds something back, only to reveal them during the playing of the film. One, which comes late in Now And Forever, comes out of the blue and is genuinely shocking, leaving the audience questioning whatever conclusions they had previously drawn. Others are more obvious. We know, for example, that from her being a patient at the hospital, Hye-won is not well but the freedom that she enjoys suggests that she is on the mend. Or is she? When she and Min-su enjoy a meal at a restaurant to celebrate her birthday, is she really one year older or does the twinkle in her eyes suggest that this, like so much else, is simply her way of having fun. And how much of what she draws Min-su into is just that, the enjoying of an uncomplicated relationship so long as it lasts.

What I Think:
This was the first movie that I ever saw Jo Han So act and I thought he was really good. This is also my fave Choi Ji Woo movie to date. She looks so pretty here, she looks young wearing jeans, and letting her beautiful hair fall down. This movie will take you on a whirlwind of emotions. The first parts will make you cry in laughter and the latter parts will make you shed a tear or two; but this has got to be the funniest CJW movie I have ever seen.
The 2 leads have great chemistry, and Jo Han So is such a good kisser and he is not a bad singer either! J I like the fact that JHS is really tall because CJW is quite tall. I cannot stand the movies/ series that she did with actors who are shorties or have the same height as she is like Lee Byung Hun, Bae Young Jun and yes she even has almost the same height as Kwon Sang Woo…haha.
Scenes to check out:
@ The intro scene with Min-su in bed with another woman, jeez I thought that was Choi Ji Woo!
@ The double date of Hyeon-Minsu and Sujin-Kyungmin. Kyung min cannot do the magic tricks that Min su does hilarious!
@ When Kyung-min became a movie set extra! He got hit a lot and he was just funny!
@ Hye-won and Min-su playing games together, sleeping together and him staring at her while she was sleeping
@ Their health issues, so ironic, talk about fate.
Having earlier returned to Hong Kong from their vacation, news spread quickly that the two were expecting a baby and thus wed. Arriving back in Hong Kong yesterday morning, Nicholas Tse personally confirmed the secret marriage. He disclosed; "You're right, I have gotten married! Thank you for everyone's concern!"
Rumour has it Nicholas and Cecilia, with the witness of good friend Eason Chan, secretly married earlier in the Philippines. News also surfaced that Nicholas and Cecilia were expecting a baby, and thus wed. Early the other day, Nicholas appeared at the airport and was immediately surrounded by reporters. Sporting a pair of sunglasses, Nic kept his left hand hidden while tracking through the airport hall, with the aid of his assistant. It was seen that his left hand was kept tightly in his pocket, clearly hiding the engagement band. When Nic finally stopped to answer reporter's questions, he suddenly pulled out his left hand, which displayed his wedding ring. In all but a matter of 2 seconds, he lifted his left hand, before once again tucking it away.
During most of the interview, Nicholas chose not to respond. Keeping in good spirits however, Nicholas continued to display his happiness with blissful smiles. When reporters questioned him on the marriage rumour, he selfishly kept his mouth sealed as he smiled. Persistent for answers, the reporters pressed him again, causing Nicholas to finally disclose; "I've seen many of the reports, thank you for all your concern. Yes, I have gotten married. As to the other questions, I don't want to talk too much into it." Lifting his left hand from his pockets for two seconds, he displayed his wedding ring. As for the reports that the marriage resulted from the couple supposedly expecting, Nic expressed that he will not respond. Questions continued to persist as they questioned whether Cecilia was expecting a boy or a girl, as well as her likely due date. To this, Nicholas simply responds; "I won't answer, I won't respond, I will no longer discuss this…" As to whether Deborah Li knows of his marriage, he expressed that she does. Lastly, the reporters made one last request to see the wedding band again. Nicholas rejected with a simple; 'there's no reason to.'
Just the other day, Cha Siu Yan discussed on a radio program that he had run into Patrick Tse, and congratulated him on becoming an in-law and grandpa. To this, Patrick responded selfishly with joyful laughter. When asked whether he had witnessed the marriage, he pointed out that the week before, he was in Shanghai playing golf. When asked if he had only recently known of the marriage, he stated that this is a family matter. As for Nicholas's manager, who appeared on the new town entertainment for an interview; to Nicholas's secret marriage, she expresses that he had told her of his vacation trip, and had a good idea. On whether or not his marriage will have an affect on his career, she expresses that it will not.

Hong Kong pop star Nicholas Tse has confirmed the widely-spreading rumors about his marriage to his movie star girlfriend Cecilia Cheung.
Some Hong Kong media have reported that Nicholas Tse returned Hong Kong from central China's ZhengzhouCity yesterday. When asked if he had married Cecilia, Nic replied that he appreciated their interest in his wife. He also showed the reporters a ring on his third finger.
The couple was reported to be back together after their cooperation in the movie "The Promise."
The immensely popular "Goong – Sassy Princess" is scheduled to begin shooting its sequel in October. However, it was still unclear whether the original leads will continue their performance. On the 15th, when director Hwang Inroe accepted an interview, he finally revealed and confirmed that "Goong II" will have an entirely new cast. The four leads Ju Ji Hoon, Yoon Eun Hye, Kim Jung Hoon and Song Ji Hyo will not participate in the sequel.
Although many fans of "Goong" were filled with anticipation for the confirmation of the four leads, but they will have to be disappointed. Hwang Inroe, who is responsible for the shooting of "Goong II", expressed: "Both Ju Ji Hoon and Song Ji Hyo have decided to do another work. Yoon Eun Hye has another reason, but the three of them have told me that they were unable to film the sequel. Only Kim Jung Hoon has promised to accept it. Therefore "Goong II" will be shown to the viewers with an entirely new cast as well as a different plot." Regarding the fact that he has to prepare four new people to take up these characters, Hwang Inroe could hardly conceal that he feels abandoned.
Hwang Inroe indicated that "Goong II" will continue with the theme of a fictional South Korean monarchy, showing how tradition and the present can co-exist together. The plot will also be tied to the first series. The ending of "Goong" revealed that ultimately Lee Shin and Lee Yul didn't inherit the throne, leading to the temporarily ascension of Shin's sister Hyemyeong. The sequel will thus continue with this plot as the palace discovers the existence of a royal grandson living among commoners. In turns out that he have absolutely no clue about his identity. After he graduated from high school, he works as a delivery boy. He didn't know until the palace invited him to come and he suddenly became a member of the imperial family in one night. Upon his entrance in the palace, he began his training. He will be groomed to become emperor. The inspiration for this plot came from the true story of the Joseon dynasty where a commoner became the emperor.
Currently, the drama team of "Goong II" is building a new scenery nearby Hwaseong, Suwon. They are also diligently trying out different filming angles. After the new leads are confirmed begin October, they will immediately start filming. It wilthen be broadcasted next year in January.
Bride From Hanoi is a very special, two-part K-Drama, filmed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war. It tells the story of Eun Woo (Lee Dong Uk), a Korean doctor who meets and falls in love with Tib, a half-Korean, half-Vietnamese woman (Played by Kim Ok Bin) whilst in Vietnam. However, Tib's sister is opposed to the match, as she was hurt by a Korean man in the past, and so persuades her Tib to break off the relationship.
Eun Woo returns to Korea broken hearted, only for his older brother Sok Woo (Lee Won Jong) to head off to Vietnam in search of a bride himself. But when he returns with a young woman on his arm, Eun Woo is horrified to discover that it is Tib!
What I Think:
This is definitely a good mini-movie! I was thinking of the first part of the movie where Lee Dong Wook ( Eun Woo) was trying to electrically revive a patient and he was lying on top of the patient, that was a big blooper coz when doctors do that, the first thing that they say is “All Clear! Give me 150 joules!” but LDW was sitting on top of the patient, then he could have been electricuted along with him!! That scene remined me of Kim tae Hee’s scene in Love Story in Harvard.
Are Lee Dong Wook’s lips the reddest or what? His lips are really red, so cute! The only other actor I can think of with lips as red as his is Jo In Sung. JHow I love Lee Dong Wook, he is so tall and lean and wonderfully sexy! Hehe! He is really handsome, and Thi vu is kinda pretty too and speaks korean well. Oh and I love Lee Dong Wook’s clothes here too, his look is very casual, jeans, clean pressed shirts with sweaters on very different from his outrageous clothes in “My Girl.”
Lotus flowers, I never knew Lotus flowers are gorgeous! My fave flowers have always been Tulips, I thought the flowers Thi Vu was carrying were Tulips but they were Lotus! Nice! The backdrop scenes were awesome too! Vietnam is so wonderful, very scenic and Korea has always been scenic! The scenes of Eun woo and Soh go’s plantation is the very same flower field used in Summer Scent! I love that place!
Some nice scenes to watch out for:
@ Eun Woo meets Thi Vu at the bike parking, she brought Lotus flowers, he was staring at her and tipped the whole line of bicycles there! That is funny.
@ Old patient: What relationship do you have with this woman?
Eun Woo: I love this woman!! (in perfect Viet! Thi Vu was angry that he pretended he didn’t
understand any Viet! She stormed out)
@ Thi Vu never coming to the airport to seeEun woo off.
@ Eun woo almost telling his brother that he used to date Thi Vu.
@ Park Soh Go and In Lan together, I just feel that they belong together when I saw them walking side by side.
@ Thi Vu breaking down when she knew her sister’s deception.
@ Mom giving Thi Vu her jade ring. She loves Thi Vu, this scene made me cry.
@ Soh goh telling Eun Woo what happened to Thi Vu when he left her in Vietnam.
@ Eun woo telling his family that he will marry Thi Vu, his mom went bersek
@ The ending with Thi Vu telling Eun woo “ I would still love you even if you hadn’t came.”

Summary:
Woo Ji Hoon (Yun Jung Hun) is a playboy magician. He uses magic to get girls. He believes that love is like magic; when it wears of you just have to move on to the next woman. When he performed in a magic show in one school, he ended up making love to a teacher, Koo Hee Won. Then years after, they both lost touch and moved on. Ji Hoon went back to his playboy ways, Hee Won to teaching mischievous high school kids. One day Ji Hoon’s manager and flat mate, while looking for porn in the internet, accidentally watched this film from a hidden camera taken from a motel, of a man and a pretty young woman. He zoomed in on the shot and realized it was his friend Ji Hoon caught on candid camera!! He told Ji Hoon and he started racking up his brain who was that girl he made love with in the camera shot…and realized that is was the high school teacher Hee Won!
Ji Hoon then went back and told Hee Won that they were had a sex tape of the day when they made love in that hotel proliferating in the internet. Ji Hoon was already dating his dentist while Hee Won has a pending marriage proposal from Joon seok. Hee Won decided that they should find the pranksters and find the hidden cameras, now if only they could remember that motel. They made love in so many places that they cannot remember which motel was this.
As both Ji Hoon and He won were looking for the hidden cameras in different motels…Ji Hoon was slowly falling in love all over again with Hee Won. While Hee Won was pressured to give Joon seok an answer to his marriage proposal. Then while looking at Hee Won’s 26th birthday picture, he found the motel and discovered the hidden cameras. The motel owners mugged him and gave him a big black eye. Joon seok eventually saw Hee Won and Ji Hoon’s sex scandal and broke of their engagement. The school fired Hee Won, she moved on to a place where no one knows her. Ji Hoon, one day, found her again and they started dating again then they got married and went to their honeymoon. But before the magic in bed started they started scanning their room for hidden cameras..
What I Think:
I wanted to watch more movies with my fave, Yun Jung Hun in it so I watched this one. Yun Jung Hun is definitely a good actor and when he goes out of his comfort zone, like in this movie, he does well. I was shocked at first when I saw him in this movie, he was jumping from one girl to another, he was suave! I really like it when he starts smiling like that! Aish! Turns my insides into mush!! And his bod does not look that bad either.
Park Jin Hee is kinda pretty too, her acting is just okay and she is stylish. This is the first time I saw her in a movie and she did okay.
This movie is basically just okay. Nothing too much to rave about it.
This movie has a very complex way of telling things, an awful lot of flashbacks are used. I find myself lost, wondering whether this scene is the present time or the flash back, you don’t know where one scene starts and another stops. Speaking of Girls, girls, girls--- man I was totally confused which girl is Yun Jung Hun making love too. Believe me Hee won and that dentist girl that Ji Hoon’s dating looks so much like and so are the rest of Ji Hoon’s girls! Whew!
Some nice scenes:
@ The lady dentist took out Ji Hoon’s tooth he started complaining “It keeps on bleeding!!”---then he saw the pretty dentist, he smiles and said “I’ll be damned the pain is gone!” I thought this scene was funny!
@ Ji Hoon and Hee Won’s sex scandal from a motel. Woah! I never thought Yun Jung Hun could do those bed scenes! I need to catch my breath, those scenes are rated PG. They’re hot!
@ Ji Hoon and Hee Won staring at each thru a fish tank, This looks like a scene from Romeo and Juliet.
@ Hee won saying “I think you are certifiably crazy!” to Ji Hoon
@ Hee Won seeing their scandal on cd, she broke down and cried.
@ Hee won saying “Let’s get married or let’s get the crooks!”
@ Ji Hoon giving Hee Won a rubber duckie which only sueks when h touches it. The simple things that makes you smile, is ll that matters.
@ The searches on every motel for a hidden camera.
@ Ji Hoon giving Hee won a piggy back ride home when she got to drunk thinking of her problems. This piggy back scenes always works.
HAPPY 2009!!
