Cast:

Gao Enxie (Jo In Sung)

The younger Gao brother who loves Enzhen. He has fear of blood, because he always sees his mom in her suicidal attempts. He plays cello with his band, is a doctor, who is really famous with the kids at the children's ward, likes painting, playing childish games and toy robots, is funny, and romantic.

  

Gao Enhao (Jee Jin Hee)

The older Gao brother, a very good doctor, he excels at anything that's why Enxie adores him. He was the first one to meet Enzhen at the sanitary, through him, she found her voice.

 

Xu Enzhen (Goo Hyun Jung)

The adopted daughter of the sanitary chief. She loves playing the piano as much as Enxie loves playing the cello. She first fell in love with Enhao but found herself falling for the sweet, charming ways of Enxie.

Synopsis:

Gao Enzhen was the adopted daughter of a Country sanitary chief/ doctor and she fell in love with her music teacher that was the first time she saw and fell in love with Enhao. He never knew.  Enzhen suffered from aphasia she becomes dumb, her fingers hurt so bad she stopped playing the piano.

Gao Enhao and Gao Enxie are half brothers who are born of the same father but of different mothers, they are both doctors. Enhao looks for his long lost mother and finds a job at the island sanitary, he fell in love with Enzhen and he even made her talk again, with him she found her voice.

Enhao goes back to Seoul to find his mother but he had a car accident and had amnesia. Enzhen found him and stood by him until he regains his memory and remembers her. While she took care of him, she spent lots of time together with Enxie, she found him to be handsome, funny and enjoyable to be with.

Enzhen found it hard to choose between the elder brother who suffered amnesia and the younger bother who has learned to love her already.

 

**Heheh so I can actually write a summary…I am bad at writing summaries. If you want to post these summaries somewhere please credit me okie?

 

 

What I think:

Okay about Jee Jin Hee, he is okay really; it's just that when I saw his series, Love Letter, I was more of a Joo Hyun Jae fan than his. He is such a good actor! Ahhh! I miss Joo Hyun Jae all of  sudden!

 

After watching "Memories in Bali" I said I just have to watch more Jo In Sung series, with a happier ending! J I don't know where to start here so I just listed down the nice, must-see scenes in the series, mostly are JIS's scenes:

 

** The first meeting of Enxie (JIS) and Enzhen (GHJ) where Enzhen was crying in Enhao's bed and Enxie, who was sleeping on the other bed beside his brother, rose up and just stared at Enzhen! Jo In Sung was his usual funny self here!

 

** All the scenes where Jo In Sung is palying that darn cello! He absolutely cannot play that that thing!! His chords are wrong, he can't strum the strings to save his life, and he looks absolutely hilarious!! J

 

**All the scenes where Jo In Sung pukes because he fears seeing blood. My god! I ended up laughing in those scenes I don't know!! J Insung seems to be over-acting those puke scenes!

 

** Where JIS and his gang staged a "rescue" of Enzhen, JIS practiced his moves and his lines… but Enzhen was so brave and she just slapped the gang leader!! I fell of the floor laughing at this one.

 

**All the scenes where JIS was pursuing Goo Hyun Jung are sweet romantic ones! He brought dozens and dozens of eggs and painted each egg with funny faces, and then he gave it to Enzhen. She loves the painted eggs so much that she can't bear to eat the eggs so they gave it to the children's ward. He also pretended to shout out his cell phone number so that Enzhen can hear it and call him.

 

** Brothers and Enzhen were enjoying a day at the park, I like the scene where the 3 of them are skating, Goo Hyun Jung looks so pretty there! Enxie just took pictures of here in his digital camera.

 

** Jo In Sung was wearing a red jacket, Goo Hyun Jung wore a pink sweater and he just hugged her while she was cooking rice. He told her if he can hug her for 10 minutes, then for just 5 minutes, then for just a few seconds…He wants to stay like that forever…I remember this line from Meteor Garden with Lei and Shancai at the beach in Japan. Hmmmm… J

 

** Enzhen was walking home, Enxie was following her behind. She was telling him the million reasons why he should go home already, she said I'm worried about you… JIS just walked fast to her, turned her around and kissed her!!! Aishhhh!!! J J J

 

** Enzhen and Enxie stayed in the Island together and they played make believe family with a kid neighbor. Enzhen is the mom, Enxie is the dad and the kid was their little son. They look so cute together!! The parts where JIS calls her "Wife" just exhilarates me! "Wife can you cook for us?" "Wife will you come here" My god and JIS flashes her his cutest smile ever! Goddd!!J

 

** SPOILER ENDING!! STOP READING HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING JUST YET. I WARNED YOU OKAY? * DOES OKAY SING*

 

The ending: Enhao calls Enzhen (who's already living in the Island) and told her his grandfather won't be coming back because he's volunteering in Africa, but another doctor is sent to you, meet him at the dock. She runs out to the dock, she wanted it to be Enxie so badly and he appeared at the dock and they just hugged!!

Rating: 8 Korean kimchis out of 10

 

Other Stuff:

SBS will broadcast a new drama called SpringDay beginning January 8, 2005. That drama will star Go Hyun Jung, Jo In Sung (Hearts in Bali/Shoot for the Stars/Piano) and Ji Jin Hee (Miss Kim's Adventures in Making a Milion/ Dae Jang-geum/ Love Letter). Most of us do not know who Go Hyun Jung is since she hasn't been working for about 10 years. She is a former Miss Korea runner-up who became a very popular actress before she got married into the Samsung family and began raising a family. She got a divorce in 2003 and is now making a comeback.

** So this series was just aired in Korea this year.

 

** The closing and the opening credits song are really nice ones! The song sounds like the  ones played in Stained Glass.

NOW WE KNOW THAT MOON GEUN YOUNG IS REALLY IN THE CAST!

I wish the young boy would be Kim Hye Seung! I  can totally go nuts!

Won Bin must be in this series! He is just sooooo right!
The lead girl can be anyone I just want her to be  drop dead gorgeous and a great actress… song hye kyo, jeon ji yeon, kim tae hee, ha ga in, son ye jin....

I really want won bin and jeon ji yeon to be in this!

I’m just out of my league this weekend and Atche Cher  knows why…

All your life, you had specific dreams about what
your family life would be like when you finally
married.

You were so intent on what you wanted, you even

Single means you have the time to grow and be the
person you want to be.

Single gives you space to grow.

Sometimes, it is harder to grow when you are too
close to someone.

Trees are planted far apart so they can spread their
branches and become strong as they mature.

Single means learning to live by yourself.

However, that is no more difficult than learning to
live with somebody else.

Single means freedom.

You are free to spend a week's vacation on the
beach, to take computer courses, to work late on
an interesting project, to spend the day in bed
with a good book or simply with a person who has
read one.

Single means learning not to need a man/woman to
make your life meaningful but learning to live with
a man/woman because you want to be with
him/her.

Single means that sometimes you will wonder why
you will bite your lip and feel wistful and wonder if
marriage is better.

Ironically, yet quite happily, single is feeling
good about being in control of your life.

It is liking and respecting who you are and why you
are.

Single is realizing that being married is not
necessarily better, it is merely different.

Single means that there could be something
wonderful around the corner and you can take advantage of
it.

Being single means you are free to love again.

Lots of things make me go bonkers these days. I can’t help but write something about these things.

Has anyone heard of the singer John Legend? He is so good! Kanye West writes his songs and those songs are so darn good! I like his second single called “Ordinary People.”

 

FLY TO THE SKY! They had got to be my fave Korean r & b duo! I m crazy about their Eternity track!! Somebody share my craziness here?

Their cd 1 track 1 song called “Like Shining Stars” is the Korean version of Eternity! My god!! I like both songs! FTTS is a talented duo so wherever they go, they’d always make it, now that their contract with SM entertainment has already ended. I was wondering with all the bs about SM, hurting their artists and stuff, why would groups like shinhwa, sly to the sky… stay with them for so many long years? But anyway now that shinhwa’s already out of there and now FTTS, I only just have tvxq in there. What’s happening to SM?

 

I was listening to the radio their other night and I heard this like pep cheer for La Salle and it goes “ If I were to live my life all again, I’d rather be a lasalista pa rin…. I’d rather be green than be blue.” I like the song, it’s a Mac & Me ost entitled “I’ll follow you.” Hahaha the ong just kills my brother! Heheheh! J

 

I have totally gone bonkers over Deli spice!! Their song “Go Baek” is so nice nice nice, great!! I found out that, that song is included in their Deli spice vol 5: Espresso album! OMG! I will buy that cd I hope there is still one sold in the market! Or else I have no choice but to download that song from the net. That’s a hard song to find. Jeez!

 

More songs! I like Kim Jong Shin’s On My Way To You song! It is such a nice song! Oh lordie, not another album puhllezeee…I have still lots of albums on my to buy list! J Hyesung! I want his single album the autographed one!! I want that! Atche Cher I hope I’d get that autographed cd!! My god Hyesung oppa held that cd! 

 

I was thinking of joining the National geographic channel’s Genographic Project! Yes I watch those shows! I enjoyed their Pharaoh’s Week features! Genographic project is where a team of researchers will try to map your origins..so I don’t know, I’d like to trace my roots to china and stuff. I remember when I was a kid; my grandfather’s friends would call him “Intsik Macau.” I miss my gramps.

 

ENDLESS LOVE 4! I am sooooo looking forward to this series! Moon Geun Young is already in it, she’s for sure! Now the artists that they are choosing from make me go crazy!

Won Bin & jeon Ji yeon = I pray they’d be the ones to play the roles! But won bin will go to military service and Jeon ji yeon is getting married so I don’t know how this will fair.

 

Won Bin & Song Hye Kyo= Oma oma!! They look hot together! Chemistry is oozing!!

 

Jo In Sung & Jeon Ji Yeon= Yeah they are both tall and cute and they both come from the same management team, Sidus! Makes things easier!

 

Jo In Sung & Kim tae Hee= Hmm..maybe they could, but JIS is sooooo freakin tall, and kth is not, with that height difference there wont be no hugging scenes just like in Memories in bali. Nah….
