Writer/director Choi Seok-won helms My Boyfriend is Type B, a screwball romantic comedy about a young woman who falls hard for a guy whose outrageous personality may very well be related to his blood type! Han Ji-hye stars as Ha-Mi, a beautiful university student who lands a hunky, but totally obnoxious boyfriend by the name of Young-Bin (popular Korean idol Lee Dong-geon).
The film's premise hinges on the wacky theory that a person's blood type has a direct effect on one's love life. Case in point: a type-B male like Young-Bin is said to be conceited and stubborn whereas a type-A girl like Ha-Mi is destined to be timid and obedient for the rest of her life. Thus, it's a bad match from the get-go if one believes in the blood type theory. Even so, can these two vastly different people find love in spite of their seeming blood type incompatibility? Find out in My Boyfriend is Type B, a wacky Lunar New Year comedy that just about anybody can enjoy - regardless of blood type!
Lee Dong-gun & Han Ji-hye shot to fame after starring in the leading roles of the popular Korean drama Sweet 18 and have ever since been considered to be the perfect couple, which was one of the reasons why they paired up again in My Boyfriend is Type B. Rumor has it that the two are lovers in real life now too ...

What I Think:
This movie is one of my top 5 favorite Korean movies so it is good. J Hehehe, but then again I am biased cause I like both Lee Dong Gun and Han Ji Hye. I have lots of favorite scenes in the movie, one was where Lee Dong Gun was playing the guitar and singing “And I Love You So” to han Ji Hye who was looking at him from her balcony!! Aish! I swear I keep on repeating that part!!! Though Lee Dong Gun doesn’t really know how to play the guitar cause I was watching him closely and he didn’t get the frets right, it doesn’t matter because he sang the song beautifully! Oh and he actually speaks English quite well! And I love you so, people ask me why…
Then there is the scene where they go on a date, Han Ji Hye wore the hanbok!! Omg she looks absolutely cute!! They look so good together! I am so happy they are dating for real!!
Another funny character is Han Ji Hye’s cousin! Oh she also plays Ha Ji Won’s best friend in “Memories in Bali” imagine her, yeah she’s really funny! She went on a date with this one guy, the guy goes… “So do you go by the rule, hands, then kiss then tits?”She said, forget the order! You can do it randomly, and repeatedly!! By god!! I was laughing so loud in that scene!! J
Another fave scene was when Han Ji Hye fell on top of Lee Dong Gun, then he tried to kiss her, she said, “Wait is it peck or a French kiss?”They just laughed. Funny in this movie, they don’t share too many kisses, not hugging even.I like the superman thing they did in the elevator too! Jeez aren't they korea's cutest real and reel life couple?!
The song that Lee Dong Gun sang for the movie soundtrack. He sang 3 songs in the ost.
And I Love You So - Lee Dong Gun
And I love you so
The people ask me how
How I've lived 'til now
I tell them I don't know
I guess they understand
How lonely life has been
But life began again
The day you took my hand
And yes I know,
how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me
And the night won't set me free
I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me
And yes I know,
how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me
And the night won't set me free
I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me
And I love you so
The people ask me how
How I've lived 'til now
I tell them I don't know

Just some news on won bin coz i miss him.
Newspaper report on Wonbin's press conference with the Taiwan media held at Inter-continental Hotel, Seoul, 30 June 2003.
Interview with Won Bin - a detailed report
Low-profile and genuine heartthrob expressed his wish of visiting Taiwan
Won Bin has been always keeping low-profile. He doesn't like being interviewed. But in this press conference, he readily replied every question. During the interview, his emotions all written on his face. His genuineness reminds me of a boy-next-door.
Slimmed down while shooting TAE GUK GI
Because of the shooting of TAE GUK GI which is directed by Kang Je-gyu, Won Bin has slimmed down and has become more tanned. His agent has bought an insurance policy to insure him against any accidents that might happen to him during shooting.
"In the movie, I am an ordinary high school student who joined the army and is forced to witness the cruelty of the war. This role involves lots of expressions of emotions and feelings. Furthermore, this movie needs scenes from the four seasons, so it is rather tough and exhausting. I have been receiving a one-month military training right before the shooting."
Won Bin has a nice time working with the director of movie SHIRI, Kang Je-gyu and Jang Dong-gun in that TAE GUK GI project, Won Bin said: "Director Kang allows me to perform in my own way, but gives me advices during shooting; Jang Dong-gun is my senior, and we had cooperated in another movie 6 years ago, so our relationship is quite good."
A Jacklyn Wu-type lover
When being asked about his rumour with Han Chae-young, Won Bin kept silent for a while, and expressed his will of not responding to this topic. But later he replied: "This is rumour and is not true. I don't have any girlfriend now."
When being asked which is his ideal kind of girl friend, he replied shyly: "First impression is important, she must be kind and it will be nice if she is pretty. I like girl who looks like the role of Jacklyn Wu in the movie [A Moment of Romance II]. But in reality, I still haven't met such a girl."
It seems Won Bin doesn't like to answer questions regarding too much of his personal life. He said: "I don't want to let the public to know too much about my personal life. I hope my fans would get to know me through my movies. I think Mang-tae's character in [Kkokji] is much closer to the real Won Bin."
When being asked about his hobbies and what he would do when he was free, Won Bin said readily, "Playing computer games and watching videos. If I go outside, I would wear a cap. I love travelling and fishing. If TAE GUK GI would be on cinema in Taiwan, I might make a trip there too." Won Bin revealed he would not mind dating girls from other countries, but it must all depends on 'fate'.
Prayer give him power to face rumours
Many people said Won Bin looked like Takuya Kimura. Won Bin thinks that he and Takuya don't really look the same. "We are of different styles. Takuya is very popular and it is my pleasure of being commented as being alike to him."
When being asked which he thinks is his nicest feature, Won Bin said shyly: "When I looked at myself every morning, I am pleased with my looks but I think inner beauty is the most important."
How did he manage rumours like drug taking, escaping from military, etc.? Won Bin replied: "I won't clarify the rumours myself. Regarding all these reports, I just ignored them." Being a Christian, when facing such untrue reports, he would just pray to God and hope the news fade away soon.
Fighting for career and study
Because of a Master education in Yong-In University, Won Bin can continue his work and delay his military service. "Because of my work, I have little time for school, so I missed quite a lot from school. But I will try my best to come back for classes." His best subject in University is Sports, especially soccer. Other subjects are all fair.
Regarding his future acting plan, Won Bin hopes to conquer the foreign markets. "To work with the Japanese and Chinese, I should overcome the language barrier first. No matter it's Wong Kar Wai or other good directors, I would be happy to work with them."
In talking about his favourite actors, Won Bin said: "If giving the chance, I would love to act the roles like Nicolas Cage in 'Leaving Las Vegas' and Sean Penn in 'I am Sam'." He was impressed by their performance.

Only Have Translation for the Top Bold portion:
"Hi everybody, I'm Jo In Sung. This is my second time coming to Taiwan. Actually to be honest, when I was here the first time, I was a little hurt. Because nobody recognised me. But unexpectedly this time, seeing the fans who came to fetch me from the airport, fills my heart with joy. But what I wish to do now, is have a relationship. I want to travel and bring my girlfriend to Bali"
After her father is fired by his company senior college student Su-wan has no other alternative than to start giving private lessons, in order to pay for her school fees. However, all her students turn out to be extreme cases that make teaching them an unbearably difficult task. Therefore Su-wan wants to give up this source of extra income after just one week, but after her mother's continued reminder that she won't be able to pay her school fees unless she goes on with her teaching job, she decides to give it a try again.
During her second attempt at part time teaching, she encounters millionaire son Ji-hun. This student is frequently causing lots of trouble at school, behaves rude & arrogantly and also smokes during all lessons. Su-wan is at the brink of quitting her job for good, but since she has a commitment towards her mother and family she tries to get the troublesome student onto the right track.

What I Think:
The movie is just average; I don’t know why everybody raves too much about it, I guess most of them haven’t seen the movie in its entirety. Or maybe they just love the movie because Kwon sang Woo is in it. Kim ha Neul looks a bit old to be playing Kwon Sang Woo’s love interest. She is not the cutest, most glamorous Korean actress but she held her own and I like that fact that she is feisty and gutsy. There are some shots where Kim Ha Neul looks like Lee Eun Joo in the movie.
Kwon Sang Woo did a lot of fight scenes here. As always, his acting here was really good; I like his hairstyle here than in “Love So Divine” he looks better that way.
I had a few laughs in this movie; I fast-forwarded all the scenes in school cause it’s dragging already. Okay the prob with this movie is there was no chemistry between the two leads, the next thing I knew Ji-Hun already likes Su-Wan and that’s it, I swear I did not see that coming!
Question here, guys, anyone know what’s the real name of Sae Hun? The younger brother of Kwon Sang Woo in the movie? Are you kidding me! He looks so cute! I like rewinding that little cute cameo!
* edited entry: After watching Kim Ha Neulin “Stained Glass” I think I already am beginning to like her. She can look pretty too.J Yeah like really really like her!

After his debut in The Classic and To Shoot A Star, aired in HTV7, Jo In Sung officially “enter” the home of the Vietnamese audiences.
His childhood dream: To become a Taekwondo trainer
“When I was young, I was captivated by numerous sports that are associated with ball and boxing, especially, Taekwondo,” said Jo In Sung. I was the “master” of the school basketball team when I was in middle school. The team won numerous medals during our competition against other students. During high school, I was planning to test into a physical education/sport school in order to become a Taekwondo trainer in the future.” Apparently, Jo In Sung could not accomplish his dream because while attending a Taekwondo competition at Seoul, he was injured and was unable to become a Taekwondo trainer/teacher.
While he was in the midst of his worries for his future, his best friends “pushed” Jo In Sung into the entertainment circle when they saw what a great outer appearance In Sung has. They secretly send his pictures to numerous advertisement companies and as a result, he was chosen to be an exclusive model for Ziozia in 1998.
Memories of his first role
With a handsome face and a smooth light skin, his skin his smoother than women, Jo In Sung quickly become a favorite advertising model. He realizes that this job would not last long; therefore, he decided to enter MBC first acting class.
His first debut was in School 3, Jo In Sung successfully portrays his attractiveness. Frankly, in order to participate in this drama, he has to go through a harsh competition with the ration of 100:1. At that time, Jo In Sung was studying at MBC; however, School 3 was produced by “rival” KBS. For that reason, his first debut brings him numerous worthy remembrances.
Shooting Star: A Lever Serie
After participating in series like School 3, Drama City, Piano, New-Non Stop, Jo In Sung confidently accepted the male lead role in To Shoot A Star.
The audiences adoring for To Shoot A Star was not mainly part of the plot; however, numerous people pay close attention to the cute pairing of Jo In Sung and Jun Do Yeon.
There was rumor concerning Jo In Sung and Jun Do Yeon has feeling for each other since both were so into their character. During one of the scene, after the director yelled “Cut!” both Jo In Sung and Jun Do Yeon remained kissing each other passionately. However, Jo In Sung denied: “I really respect Jun Do Yeon, and we both see each other as brother and sister."
Recently, in one of the Internet voting, the master of the title “The most handsome men in Korea”: Jo In Sung received the title from Won Bin and beat out his competitor: Kim Jae Won, Kim Rae Won…
With the height of 1m86, weight only 72kg and a strong build face always appear with an attractive smile with a smooth light skin, Jo In Sung deserved to be “Korean most handsome man.” One of the factor the audiences support and vote for him due to his role in What Happen In Bali. Jo In Sung had given life to the style of wearing flowers shirt for Korean men. After watching this drama, numerous female and housewives make their boyfriends and husbands wear these flowers shirt. Won Bin even wore a similar shirt that Jo In Sung wore in What Happened In Bali to pose for My Brother promotion.
2005: “Attacking” Japan entertainment
After What Happen in Bali, costarred with So Ji Sup and Ha Ji Won, Jo In Sung become idolized by the Japanese audience’s right behind Bae Yong Joon and Lee Byung Hun. Jo In Sung's attraction force becomes stronger when Spring Day was aired.
The Japanese audiences pay close attention to Spring Day since it was a similar version of Japanese famous drama, Heaven’s Coins. On January14, more than 700 fans had participated in a meeting with their “new idol” at Tokyo. That was the first step in Jo In Sung plan to “attacking” Japan entertainment in 2005.
