Han Seung-Wan (Aacted by Kim, Jae-Won) He's young and immature. He's a party animal. He's a very moody person. He's a frequent patron of the dance clubs around town. He's always welcome because he knows how to have fun. His father owns a mineral water company. He's handsome and cool, so he's popular everywhere he goes. And he secretly enjoys the fact that he's popular. He believes that women can't help but loving him. He has the characteristics of Don Quixote and Peter Pan at the same time. He majors in aeronautics. After graduation, he becomes a co-pilot for Sky Castle Airlines. His first love is Chae-young. He goes to Singapore to see her, but he meets Se-jin there, instead. When he first meets Se-jin, she's heartbroken because of her previous relationship. He just wants to make her feel better. He finds her cute. It must be the moonlight, or the wine or the music. At any rate, he always does as he pleases. But he becomes a father at the age of 22! His own father gets furious and orders him to marry Se-jin. He's about to be kicked out of the family. He doesn't have any other choice. He gets married. But he didn't legalize the marriage. He lives on the money that his father sends for the baby. He dreams of getting divorced once his daughter gets old enough to go to a daycare centre. He still thinks about his first love, Chae-young. To him, meeting Se-jin was the worst thing that ever happened in his life. He would do anything it takes if only he could go back in time and fix everything. However, his daughter seems to be the cutest child in the world. He didn't even dream that he would learn love from this little girl.
Jeong Se-Jin (Acted by Eugene) She's very unique. She's outgoing and adventurous. She's a dreamer. She's curious and stubborn. She loves traveling and reading. She sometimes sets up a tent in the room and reads a book with a flashlight. And she likes to drink coffee in her favorite camping cup. She became a catholic after reading The Keys to the Kingdom by A.J Cronin. It's not easy to imagine her as a serious catholic because of her unusual personality, but she is. She wanted to be a diplomat, but she ends up getting a job at a travel agency. She has a daughter and a husband. She unexpectedly gets pregnant while traveling as a college student. She can't give up the baby since she's a catholic. She decides to raise her baby by herself, but she gets married, thanks to her sister's plan. Her life becomes gloomy. Her married life isn't anything like she expected. It's a war. She and her husband keep fighting and ignoring each other. He even brings his girlfriend home. She doesn't have any fun in life anymore. One day, a new neighbor, Min Do-hyeon moves in. Little by little, she becomes attracted to him. But he's an old friend of her husband's. Nothing seems to go well in her life.
Min Do-Hyeon (Acted by Lee, Ji-Hoon) He's such a gentleman with good manners. He always seems neat and refined. He doesn't talk much. But he knows how to be terse and quick to the point. He's been successful throughout his life, but he's not interested in competing with others. He's very cynical; nothing really matters to him. He detests people who are obsessed with success and struggle to win. Nevertheless, he always wins and gets what he wants. He's the type of person that average people love to hate. He's the lovechild of the late founder of Sky Castle Airlines, Min Dae-seok. His biological mother died a long time ago. He was adapted and raised by Jang Eun-jo, the wife of Min Dae-seok. Very few people know about his family background. The relationship between Min Do-hyeon and Han Seung-wan is very unusual. While Seung-wan is very conscious about Do-hyeon and considers him a rival, Min Do-hyeon doesn't seem to care so much. Do-hyeon just enjoys Seung-wan's challenge. Seung-wan's girlfriend, Chae-young is interested in him. He's also attracted to her. But Chae-young goes back to Seung-wan all of a sudden. He feels betrayed and lost for the first time in his life. He realizes that Se-jin is heartbroken as well because of Chae-young. He develops a friendly feeling toward her.
Lee Chae-Young (Acted by Han, Eun-Jung) She's gorgeous, proud, sexy and arrogant. But sometimes she can be quite naive and sweet. She's very good at changing herself to fit the way she wants other people think of her. No one doubts that she comes from a decent family and has a good education. However, in reality, she knows pain and sadness in life more than anyone. Her mother was the mistress of a Japanese businessman. She's ashamed of her background and tries to escape from it. She hasn't experienced any financial difficulties until her father abandoned her mother and her. Her mother went to Japan to look for her father only to realize she'd been dumped. Her mother opens a bar in Japan and lives there. Chae-young believes that it's good for everyone. Her mother was a part of her life she wanted to hide anyway. Now, she's making up her new life story as she goes along. She thinks marrying a decent man from a good family will provide what she doesn't have and complete her life. Now, she's looking for the man who can bring her everything she dreams of. For her, finding a perfect man is like shopping. You keep looking until you find exactly what you want. She doesn't mind being a two-timer if necessary. She has Seung-wan and Do-hyeon wrapped around her little finger. She introduces herself as a daughter of a successful businesswoman in Japan.
Summary:
People like to say, “Love knows no national boundaries or age. Love is fate or Love has the power to overcome all difficulties.” However, what is the ultimate stage of love? Marriage? This could sound ridiculously old-fashioned, especially to the younger generation. They still fall in love of course, but becoming a part of a system such as marriage can be troublesome, at best. And its responsibility is bothersome, as well. Most of all, it is unimaginable for many young people to give up their dreams for love and marriage. Put in a nice way, they are very practical, open-minded and liberal about their love life. However, they are selfish about love at the same time. They are the generation of instant gratification. They still fall in love, but they refuse to give up their free life styles. They still get married, but they don’t give up their careers. Their love life is just a personal choice, and they strongly resent being judged by other people’s standards of right and wrong.
However, with love comes responsibility. Loving someone is about being responsible for your own feelings and your own decisions. Loving someone is agreeing to take responsibility for yourself and the person you love.
This is the story of two young college students (played by Kim Jae-won and Eugene) who accidentally become parents because of the one-night stand they had during vacation. They then get married. These young and inexperienced parents will show you what true love really means and how they become more mature by overcoming life’s difficulties together and how they complete their love.
What I Think:
I just want to check out another series of Eugene where her hair doesn’t look so stiff like a broomstick just like in “Save the last Dance.” Nah, really but I like Eugene a lot. She is my fave SES member mind you.And I also want to see how Lee Ji Hoon would do here. Han Eun-Jung, yeah she can redeem herself her after I saw her in Full House she better do, and Kim Jae Won, he looks okay really, but I really like Kim Rae Won better than him, Rae won’s got more charm.
I have to say I like all the hair styles of Eugene here; she looked the best with the short hair she was wearing at the latter parts of the series. She is a good actress too, and can speak good English. She has lots of chemistry with Kim Jae Won. Kim Jae Won I have to say can also do the crying, sobbing scenes I thought he was just a good jester. He can be funny and all-drama too.Lee Ji Hoon, besides the main actors, he was my fave character. Lee Ji Hoon is quite holding it out good too, he is really a looker, and he has got good fashion sense, he looks absolutely good in anything he wears! Oh and I cannot help but noticing it, but Lee Ji Hoon looks so much like Bae Yong Jun! J I think I am totally infatuated with LJH! But long before I have seen this series, He was already my favorite Group S member and Hyesung too! Aish I am totally into LJH now! Han Jung Eun, I liked her role in Full House better and her acting is okay too.
The ending is good for me. Cause I am really not bad with holding my own in sad really soppy series, I was relieved with the ending actually.I don’t want to ruin everything for you, so you got to watch the last 2 episodes especially.
Some really nice scenes:
** The intro where KJW and Eugene had English lines. It is hilarious!
** Singapore is of course my fave Asian country I just wanna say that. J ** The nice background song that is played while Min Do-Hyun was driving his car to pick up Chae-Young.
** Seung-wan took Se-Jin flying in a private light plane over Singapore.
** Seung-wan and Se-Jin sleeping together!! You should see how this happened.
** Se-jin: “Do you need Seung-wan?”
Chae-young: “No.”
Se-jin: “Because I think I will need him for something. I am considering using him as a husband.” J
** Min Do-hyun piggy back Se-jin twice.
** Se-jin not knowing what two lines in a pregnancy test kit means. J
** Seung-wan buying the candies for Chae-young with Se-jin’s help and leaving her to give the candies to Chae-young on White Day, the day Se-jin was supposed to tell him she’s pregnant..
** Seung-wan holding Baby Shinbi and asking Se-jin “Let’s get married.”
** The wedding
** Se-jin was playing the piano and singing “Moon River” and Seung-wan just staring at her and uttered “Should we date?”
** Seung-wan coming in se-jin’s room and said “I cannot sleep….. I think I like you.” And kissed Se-jin BUT it is all a dream! Aish!
** Seung-wan and Se-jin waking up at the sofa hugging and looking at each other without screaming in shock. They look lovely!
** The train ride part where people are squishing both Seun-wan and Se-jin together. For some reasons, I found it to be so romantic.
** At the mall, where Shinbi, Se-jin and Min Do-Hyun are playing. They look quite a cute family too. LJH is hot!
** The 3 of them, Shinbi, Se-jin and Seung-wan camping out and tenting with Se-jin sleeping on Seung-wan’s arms.
** Min Do-Hyun describing to Se-jin the love of his life and she doesn’t have the slightest idea that it is her.
** When Seung-wan just hugged Se-jin and told her “I Love You”
** Shinbi losing consciousness while riding the merry-go-round.
Singer Rain openly declares his ideal lover-type. The Korean artiste who is now enjoying huge popularity in Asia and US declares that his ideal lover is DJ Oh Mihee.
Through the special programme produced by KBS 2TV "The Seven Rain-Makers (eng translation my own)", Rain will reveal and talk about the seven people who helped him become the confident Rain of today. One of these special people is Oh Mihee. The programme is scheduled to air on the 10th of this month.
Rain describes his special impression of Oh Mihee, "When I was still a newcomer, I went to the radio station for an interview session with her. That was when I started admiring her. She feels like a virtuous, caring mother, letting people feel at ease when they're with her."
Rain continued about Oh Mihee, "Even though we've only met once, it feels like we've known each other for 10 years, and just want to be a pillar of support."
"My life partner should be a virtuous woman like Oh Mihee," declares Rain openly.
Rain also remembers how his mother had to make a living while enduring the pain of jabs in the course of her diabetes treatment. His face reveals his pinning and memories of his late mother.
He also mentioned GOD member, Kim Tae Woo as one of the seven "rainmakers". Before he released his debut album, Rain was so poor he didn’t have any money for food. After more than 7 days, he couldn't take it anymore, and gave Kim Tae Woo a call, saying he’'s very hungry. AT that time, Kim Tae Woo was very busy with GOD promotional activities, but he still went off to buy food for Rain immediately.
In the interview, Rain expresses, "Kim Tae Woo is a great young man. I'll remember to repay him even till the day I die."
KBS decides to air this special documentary this year during the segment "Window of Asia". This is the second special documentary on Rain, following the special documentary interview made last year in October.
Other than airing "The Seven Rainmakers", KBS will also be airing clips from Rain's concerts in NY Madison Square and Bangkok which were held in February this year.

Since Jolin Tsai just left, Song BMG immediately carried Rainie Yang to the top. Song BMG Deputy General Manager (DGM) Liu Tien Chien yesterday at the signing/concert, for Rainie's 'coronation' put on a pure quartz hand-made crown. As for online, Jolin and Rainie's two teams of fans quarreling. Rainie said she hasn't been online recently; her mother accessed the net to investigate. And the result was, the two teams already reconciled.
Rainie's new album "Meeting Love" preorders are very good. In two days, 20,000 copies of the album have been ordered. Moreover, the expectations and anticipations for this album are very high. Her results have not disappointed Sony BMG. Rainie Yang was worried before hand that the signing/concert would have only a few people; but in the end, 3,000 people came. She happily said, "I love my fans too much. I get to breathe a big sigh of relief."
Rainie's first single is called "Celebration". Fans also pre-ordered the album's portrait. This is sort of like how Hello Kitty was super popular back then. She said, "I heard that fans were waiting in line from four to five AM at dawn, waiting for me. I'm very moved, and very worried. Lately, the weather in the morning have been super cold; hopefully, the fans will wear more, and won't catch a cold." Yesterday, the parking lot, because of too much Rainie fans, there was transportation paralysis, so lots of police had to go there to direct traffic.
Reporters are falling over each other ahead of Won Bin’s first leave of absence from mandatory military service after the acting star made headlines in his new life by volunteering for duty at a border guard post. Won, who started his military service on Nov. 29 last year, is due a five-day leave on Wednesday, 100 days since he enlisted. Reporters in Japan as well as Korea are getting ready to catch the actor when he emerges from barracks.
Won's agency says it has been inundated with phone calls from the media about the exact date Won Bin starts his vacation and with requests for interviews. Some press hounds plan to camp out at the entrance of the Sangseung Regiment in Hwacheon, GangwonProvince where Won is on duty.
Japan’s press is also eager to talk to the star, with Asahi TV entreating the agency for details of the star, one of whose last appearances before enlisting was a meeting with fans in the island country.
But Won has asked for privacy to spend a quiet vacation from guard duty. The agency says his vacation will start one or two days ahead of or after the 100-day mark but it is trying to fend off interview requests. The agency also says Won is worried about a plan by the Defense Ministry to compel enlisted stars to join entertainment units, which could end his service in the DMZ.
Won has continued to draw intense interest, with pictures of the star in uniform and on guard duty widely circulated on the web.
Lee San San Committed Suicide? Lee San San was yesterday reported to have committed suicide and was taken to hospital. When reporters called her boyfriend, Chin Ka Lok, they received no reply. Then they called her assistant, the assistant said that Lee San San will call back to explain but no calls were received. When asked if Lee San San was working, the assistant explained that Lee San San was currently with her friends and could not be contacted. Thus, making the situation more mysterious.
Chin Ka Lok and Lee San San have been dating for 8 years. Earlier, reports stated that they were going to get married. Soon after these happy rumours, news came out that they had split up because Chin Ka Lok was pressuring Lee San San to get married. There are also rumours going around revealing a third person in their relationship.
When the media telephoned Chin Ka Lok’s friend, Timmy Hung, he expressed that he had not heard that Lee San San had committed suicide. The rumoured ‘third person’, host, Michael Wai, revealed that he had contacted Lee San San and that she had a cold so she had to go to the hospital.
