Min-ah (Im Soo-jung) is a typical high school girl dreaming of her romantic first love. She meets Young-jae (Kim Rae-won), a college student living next door, and begins dating with him. As Min-ah goes out with Young-jae, she worries that he is not that devoted to her. Driven by her insecurity, she then tracks Young-jae to peek his female friends. Although Young-jae gradually gains her trust, Min-ah still hesitates to convince herself that her real love has arrived when she unveils her feeling to her mother Mi-sook (Lee Mi-sook).

What I Think:
I like the scenes where Min-ah and Young-jae are talking to each other by their windows; Young-jae lives one story below Min-ah in an apartment. The fact that Min-ah doesn’t want anyone to see her left hand so she always covers it with a glove, interests me. I like the closeness of Min-ah and her mother, Mi-sook, they’re like best friends. There is one scene that flips me out, it is where Young-jae wrote Min-ah’s phone number on his floor and he cannot erase the graffiti, he was hilarious there!
The story is very touching, and mild and wonderful. When you realize that Young-jae has already fallen in love with Min-ah and you know that she is dying, it just makes you cry. Kim Rae Won is always at his best when he plays the cool and funny guy. I watched this movie because I am a big Kim Rae Won fan, but Im Su-Jeong is such a darling! She is very pretty.
I love Son Ye Jin, she looks so beautiful in "The Classic" I hope she will do another movie with Jo In sung. I want them together for real...too bad I can't find pictures of them together. Aishh!! Bae Yong JUn, umm..he is okay to me. he can look very old at times, but lots of my friends like him and collect his posters from Ray Ban shops. Hehhe... I watched "Winter Sonata" he was great there.
“April Snow” Starring Bae Yong-jun to be Shown in 10 Asian Countries The movie “April Snow” starring Bae Yong-jun will open, perhaps concurrently, in 10 Asian countries in coming September. The distribution company of “April Snow” said Feb. 24 that it has already signed contracts with Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, and is currently in talks with Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and other Asian countries. The company said movie distribution companies in these countries want to release and promote “April Snow” concurrently with Korea.
"Each of these countries plans to market the movie according to our schedule. We have devised a detailed plan for holding press conferences for foreign journalists and launching a tour around Asia prior to the movie’s release," said a person close to the company.
”April Snow,” whose filming began on Feb. 4 in Samcheok of Gangwon Province, stars Bae Yong-jun and Son Ye-jin in the lead roles. It portrays a man and a woman who, after being betrayed by their former lovers, fall in dangerous and heart-wrenching love with each other.
Peter Kim Kyu shik (Kwon Sang-Woo)
Yang Bong Hee (Ha Ji-Won)
Thomas Shin Sundal (Kim In-Kwon)
Father Yang/Bonghee’s Uncle (Kim Il-Wu)
Summary:
After some flumps, breaking a sacred cup blessed by the Pope and some really bad luck, Kyu Shik and Thomas ended up being banished to a small town church of Father Yang.
Kyu-Shik met wacky, happy-happy joy-joy, Bonghee when she fell on top of him and accidentally kissed him! Bonghee was ditched by her fiancée and as her uncle doesn’t have money to give her, she worked at the church’s orphanage to earn cash for the airfare ticket home.
Father Yang gave Kyu Shik the task of getting Bonghee baptized into the religion before he is allowed to be ordained as a full-fledged priest. Some wacky scenes followed here, he got into a disco pub, got into a motel with the drunk Bonghee on piggy back. Slowly Kyu Shik finds himself falling in love with Bonghee…and she has said she will get baptized already. Bonghee’s fiancée wants reconciliation, now Kyu Shik must choose between his love for god or the love of his life.

What I Think:
After watching Kwon Sang Woo in “Stairways to Heaven” I have high hopes for this movie. Ha Ji Won, well I have heard that she is South Korea’s highest paid actress and that she is something in “What Happened in Bali” so maybe this is a great movie but I am disappointed. The movie was just so-so, the first parts were really funny thanks to Thomas, and I was really laughing.
But the parts where Kyu-shik and Bonghee were going to a disco, got stuck in a motel, those were the really dragging, let down parts. But I like the song they performed along with the rest of the acolytes for a wedding in church! Oh Jeez I just love that song! Kwon Sang Woo can actually sing, and Ha Ji Won has a nice one too! What’s the title of that church song anyway?
The storyline dips down most of the time, then you find Kyu Shik already falling for Bonghee, which went so fast, they didn’t develop the story to the max. Kwon Sang Woo and Ha Ji Won are really good actors in here, but they both lacked chemistry! There’s just no magic between them.
I am overwhelmed by the people who are crazy about Full House and overwhelmed by the number of wonderful people who take time to post comments on my blog. It’s amazing how lots of people share my love for anything Korean or asian for that matter. So here is a mix match of everything K-pop, movies and series. Some requests here goes:
I posted the list of songs from the karaoke scene too.I am still looking for sites and pictures of Park Jin Woo aka the cutie sushi-loving baseball player. Darn who doesn’t like him!
I think he looks cute with Moon Geun Young. He said he is crushing on Moon Geun Young. Hmmm…I
think that Moon Geun Young looks good with Kim Hye Song! They can work that cause they are already good friends. MGY visited him on the set of Jenny & Juno already. J
My cousins think she looks cute with Baek(of Stairways to Heaven). Aish! Whatever! After everything’s said…she and Kim Rae Won got great chemistry, don’t you think? They look best together!
No Jay is so not dating Vivian Hsu, here’s what she said. And besides news of Him and Patty Hou are together are so true and so all over the papers already.
On “Here’s Kangxi” Vivian Hsu explained how she met good friend Jay. Vivian Hsu clarified the two only have sparks in terms of music and that Jay was not once her boyfriend. “We only have feelings in terms of music, there’s a favourable impression but not love, it’s the spark in terms of music, actually we knew each other long before he came out.” “The first time I saw Jay Chou, he hadn’t come out yet, at that time he even excitingly wanted my autograph and a picture together!”
I love the movie, and love the soundtrack. But I think the background song at the art gallery scene is not in it. There is one song though that sounds like it but the lyrics are different, I am not too sure. Can someone tell me what’s the title of the background song in the art gallery scene? I love that scene! Jo In Sung looks absolutely dashing in there!
I have a good feeling the title of that song is“geu raet na bwa” by Kim Hyung Joong.
Track 7 is the song in the Rain scene. Track1 is the closing credits song and movie’s main love theme.
Who watches MTV Whatever Things 2 here? The Asian version of Jackass and Punk'd. I am not sure if there is an MTV Whatever Things 1 cause I didn’t watch the first season. My friend said she saw Daniel Wu host it?! I don’t know but the 2nd season rocks because of Eddie and his Aiya gang! They played a prank on Vanness Wu of F4, they all speak perfect English, no wonder I am crazy about them! Damn he speaks Japanese?! We have almost same favorites, this is funny! He likes Star Wars, ahhh this must be fate! He likes John Woo is one of the hottest Asian directors; I use to watch his series in AXN before. I saw Eddie in “Spy dad” he had a cameo there, the movie totally sucks, he was the only one worth watching there. I find it funny hearing him talk Cantonese or Mandarin, I am used to hearing him talk in English.
