What I Think:

I am raving about this movie, I have so much to tell you all! I love this movie I love it I love it! I have 4 favorite parts in the movie; first one was in the art gallery where Ji-Hae and Sang-min were stealing secret glances at each other with the art canvasses passing between them and the annoying, creep Soo Gyung holding onto Sang-min. Oh that was so beautiful! The cinematography there was really good! Oh I keep replaying that part!

Second part was during the rain where Sang-min used his jacket as a “special umbrella” to cover him and Ji-Hae from getting soaked in the rain! They ran from one building to another until they got to the library. Ji-Hae said, “Why does the library have to be so near!” Omg imagine Jo In Sung here! Arrghhh he looks so wet and cute and sexy! How could someone be so cute and so sexy at the same time!

My third fave part was after Tae-Soo left Ji-Hae at her house gate and Joon-Ha came back to see Ji-Hae, he turned the lights of and then on, Joon-Ha smiled and ran down the long descending steps and hugged Joon-Ha! Aish! They are so happy just hugging each other there!

My fourth fave part was the ending where Sang-min caught a firefly and gave it to Ji-Hae. He leaned over and kissed Ji-Hae! By god, that was the most beautiful kiss I have seen in all of the k-movies I have watched!! It was so sweet, Jo In Sung is a darn good kisser and Son Ye Jin looks absolutely pretty there! I can smell good chemistry when I see one and Jo In Sung and Son Ye Jin looks so hella good together! 

Now the funnier parts. In the haunted house where Joon-Ha and Joo-Hee thought there’s a ghost but it’s only a drunk man! Ahhh! They just screamed their guts out! Then the scene in military training where Tae-Soo just fainted and dropped to the ground! Omg that was so hilarious for me! There are more scenes where he just faints like that!  It’s just that Lee Ki Woo is so freaking tall and lanky, he looks weird! I didn’t know Lee Ki Woo was THAT tall! My god!

The movie was so confusing at first with story jumping from the past to the present then back, man it made me really dizzy! The 2 stories are both really good. The acting was brilliant, I didn’t know Son Ye Jin was this good, because I have only seen some episodes of Summer Scent but she has a new move with Bae Yong Jun called “April Snow”. Jo In Sung has improved here; his acting skills here are way better and polished than in Madeline. Cho Seung Woo is really good, he has new movie called “Marathon” and everyone’s raving about his acting there. The ending is indeed a good one.

Summary:

One day he stumbles into his old classmate Lee Hee-jin (Shin min-ah) whom he has not seen for ages. The charming Hee-jin has turned into young woman of captivating beauty and also already managed to make her lifetime wish of becoming a hair stylist come true.

After crossing roads one more time, Hee-jin has a startling idea suggesting that the two of them should try and find out what the life of a couple is like for the period of one month. As a result Ji-suk and Hee-jin enjoy a wonderfully sweet time looking just like two real lovers?

What I Think:

I like one dialog in the movie where Hee-jin tells Ji-suk “You must love me so much because you waited for 40 minutes.” Ji-suk says, “You must really hate me to make me wait for 40 minutes.” Hee-jin says “No, I am usually an hour late on a first date, I am 20 minutes early.” J That was a nice line. I think Park Jung Ah is one cool rocker at the Blue Moon Resto! I like her group Jewelry!

Some good scenes are…I like the scene where Hee-jin and Ji-suk are playing in the rain all wet and muddy! Shin Min Ah looks like she was really enjoying stamping her foot all muddy on Jo In Sung! I liked the way she told Ji-suk she was pregnant through SMS “Ji-suk I’m pregnant” I liked the way Ji-suk used his jacket to cover them from the pouring rain! That was so romantic, I can just imagine Jo In Sung! Jeepers I just like him so much! Hee-jin looks so pretty here, he almost kissed her! Aish! I didn’t know that abortion is legal in South Korea because Hee-jin went to a hospital to get it done…almost.

Okay the acting; Shin Min Ah may not be as gorgeous as Jeon Ji Yeon or as adorable as Im Su Jeong, but acting-wise she is only fair and so was Jo In Sung. But their chemistry was undeniably there! There are parts in the movie that are boring, no background music, no one’s saying something, just dragging, I fast-forwarded those parts. The ending though was I cannot seem to describe it, It came so fast and it seems so-so and got no pizzazz. I was like uhhh huh what the? That’s it? The ending is a happy one at least. I cannot seem to connect what’s the significance of the Madeline pastries; I cannot fathom why it’s the title even. I just want to say… I ABSOLUTELY ADORE JO IN SUNG!!
