More Moon Geun-young

I just like this girl so much! She is a brilliant actress, she's a straight-A student, she is funny and pretty! So I thought I might post an interview she did talking about school, Kim Rae Won, her first screen kiss..so however her name is spelled, Moon Geun-Young or is it Moon Guen Young or Moon Gwen Young..I like her just like so! 

A high school girl from Gwangju Metropolitan City causes trouble by getting married at the age of 17. She even falls in love with another man even though she has a husband. Can anybody stop her? The lovely little bride, Moon Geun-young, demonstrated an impressive talent for acting in her new comedy movie ¡°My Little Bride(¾î¸°½Å&#48512 .¡± Recently, Moon was chosen as a "star actress of the future¡± by netizens.

You get married at the age of 17 in your newly released movie My Little Bride. What was it like?

Moon: Before I shot the movie, I thought marriage would be romantic, but I found that being a married woman is very hard. Becoming someone¡¯s wife means I have to take care of the family and do a lot of housework as well. That requires a huge amount of responsibility, and I realized how tough it is. However, I enjoyed filming the movie very much, thanks to Kim Rae-won, my husband in the film.

You played the role of Bo-eun, who is a very cheerful and cute high school girl. Do you share any similarities with your character?

Moon: Yes, I'm a very cheerful person like her. Until now, I've played many passive characters who cry a lot. Because of that, many people assume that I'm an introvert, but that isn't true. You may not believe this, but I do have a sense of humor.(laughs)

There was a kissing scene in the movie. I heard that it was your first ever-real kiss. How did you feel?

Moon: I can't even remember how I felt. It was a very embarrassing experience. I made several mistakes. Kim Rae-won apologized to me when he found out that it was my first kiss. But I was happy because I kissed such a cool guy.

You showed your singing talent by singing a song with your own voice in the movie. Do you have any plans to be a singer?

Moon: Absolutely not. I enjoy singing, but I don't think I'm any good. Whenever I get stressed, I go into a singing room and sing loud songs to release stress. My favorite song is Eve's I'll Be There.

You have become very popular now. Do you enjoy being a famous person?

Moon: Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. When I feel depressed, I visit my fan cafes. My fans are a great source of love and encouragement for me. Being appreciated by so many people feels really great! However, I get recognized by many people, so it's hard to have a private life.

You are famous for being an excellent student at school. What's your favorite subject?

Moon: I like many subjects, such as math, science and Korean literature. I also like physical education very much. I used to play soccer with my male classmates when I was a junior high school student. But one day, soccer balls started to scare me, so I realized that I was becoming a woman.(laughs)

You live in Gwangju. It must be very tiring making trips between Gwangju and Seoul so often. Why don't you just move to Seoul?

Moon: I love Gwangju, and I just can't leave my hometown. I like my school and friends here very much. And I enjoy the trips to Seoul because it feels like I'm going on a picnic or something. I'll move to Seoul when I enter a college.

You were nominated as a ¡°Public Relations Ambassador for the Gwangju Foreign Film Festival.¡± How did you feel?

Moon: At first, I was very worried because I thought I wasn't good enough to do the job. But it was a great experience as I'm an actress who lives in Gwangju. I was proud to do something for my hometown.

Have you ever regretted becoming an actress?

Moon: I love acting because I can wear beautiful clothes and meet famous people. But I do admit that, sometimes, I have some doubts. It¡¯s never easy to act and study at the same time. Moreover, when I started appearing on TV, some of my friends got a little jealous, and I became estranged from them. That made me sad, and the loneliness was very hard to bear. However, they understand me now, and we have become good friends again.

Who is your favorite actor or actress?

Moon: I respect many actors and actresses, but my favorite actor is Ahn Sung-gi. His acting is very natural, and he has an easy and graceful attitude. I also admire the charismatic acting of Lee Mi-yeon and Lee Mi-suk. Someday, I want to become a great actress like them.

What do you want to major in at college?

Moon: My dreams and hopes are always changing, so I can't really say at this moment. As of now, I want to study acting. And I'm quite interested in English literature, Korean literature, photography and history. I want to learn many things.

Can you tell our readers about your future plans? Moon: I'm still a student, and I'll devote myself to studying so I can enter the college of my choice. As an actress, I want to play many interesting and diverse roles. I also want to be good at as many things as possible, and I want to try my best in everything I do. I guess I'm a very ambitious person.

I love eating fried eggs for breakfast. I like fried eggs than scrambled, I just want it that way cause it’s yummier that way. How about you guys, what kind of egg you like?

When in the world would Solar Channel air the latest season of University of Hawaii volleyball games? For the love of Buddha I want to see them in action again! I want to see the warriors vs alumni games! That would be something to looks forward too! Ahhhh!

I called Milo Best Center, cause Atchie and I are planning to join the volleyball summer camp; they told me to call back this weekend to check if there are new schedules. Cause I can only play weekends that’s why. It is such a bummer! I want to play already! I am crossing my fingers that a weekend sked would open up. If weekend volleyball sked won’t be opened, I don’t know..we can take Badminton, or Soccer or swimming. Hahha I am a bad swimmer, bad as in I can’t. I mean, I use to take swimming lessons when I was younger, so I know a thing or two about swimming.

I am just crazy for Full House these days! I think Song Hye Kyo is superb in this series she is so funny! I want to whack Rain’s head cause he doesn't realize that the girl of his dreams is just there beside hima nd he still chases Lorraine!! Kim Sung Soo..jeeez all he has to do is just stand there..he registers really good on tv! He is definitely good-looking!

To the world who reads my blog and knows how to send pictures and download mp3 or wav songs then send it directly to cell phones, please tell me how to do that? Please?  I have been trying to figure that thing  out puhhleeze tell me how to.

Actress Lee Eun Ju Commits Suicide last Feb 22

 Here are news clips:

“LEJ has committed suicide in her apartment by hanging herself. She was found dead in the dressing room of her apartment in Sunae-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam City, on Feb. 22 at around 1:10 p.m. by her older brother. “

“Police also found notes that were apparently written by Lee, one saying, “Mom, I am sorry, and I love you.” Another note read, "I wanted to work very much. Living does not seem to make sense anymore. I don’t want to blame anyone. I wish I had more money... I wanted to earn money." Lee also wrote that she was tired of living, because her dignity had been ruined and she did not want to go through that experience. “I feel like I am trapped, and I don’t want others to see me like this. It’s the middle of February already. I am being chased by time,” wrote Lee in a final note.”

”It has become known that Lee received psychiatric counseling on Feb. 3 in a university hospital in Bundang. She complained of feeling “listless and disinterested,” having “difficulty concentrating,” and a loss of appetite and insomnia as she only slept one hour a day. Her doctor advised her to come again in two weeks and prescribed her pills for depression. But Lee never visited the doctor again.”

“Her family said she had been suffering a bout of mental illness after performing nude scenes in Korean thriller The Scarlet Letter.

Lee's managers denied the film had anything to do with her death. “

Then I read this in soompi:

Her letter said that she was sorry to her mom, and her brother.
She wished if she had more money or could make more money.
and also she said that she really wanted to work so badly.
That she didn't feel like she was living her life.
It's a little odd, because she had couple of commercials at once, which the staff and
directors say that she made a lot of money, plus she was to be in a new drama this
summer... which doesn't make sense, her saying that she wanted work.
Her best friend Bada is still
shocked and cried so much from hearing it over the phone, and same with Kim Jung
Hyun. Both of them talked to her very recently. Bada said that she did look a little bit
unstabled and nervous, but couldn't sense anything else. Kim Jung Hyun said that
she was so normal. That she even promised to go out and eat sometime later.

Another odd fact is that she was such a devoted Christian.
Her cyworld site - in the section where she's suppose to introduce herself.
There was a picture of a naked woman sitting on the bathroom sink curled up with
her knees up against her chest, and there was blood all over the sink. It was pretty
horrific picture, and Lee eun Joo wrote, "Everyone left me..." And another post was
her prayer to God, that He will look over her Grandma, her family, and everyone
whom she loved and cherished.
