Synopsis:
GreenRose stars popular TV stars Ko Su (My Fair Lady) and Lee Da Hae (Lotus Flower Fairy) as a couple. Lee Jung Hyun (Ko Su) works for a large corporation called SR Electronics and he falls in love with Su Ah (Lee Da Hae), daughter of the company's chairman. Being framed for a murder case, Jung Hyun escapes to China where he meets a Chinese tycoon and becomes his right-hand man. In the name of a business venture with SR Electronics, Jung Hyun, with his name changed up...
A "Green Rose" stands for eternal love. A love that only appears in Heaven. This drama is about a man named Jang Joong-won who is framed for murder. Joong-won goes through many near-death situations where he escapes going to jail and flees to China. However, leaving Korea leaves a very large scar in his heart. He leaves the woman he loves, Soo-ah (Lee Da-hae).
When he returns to Korea, he focuses on one thing...that is revenge. He vows to find those who framed him for murder. He first goes after Cha Yoo-ran (Kim Seo-hyeong), the man who had lied in court opposing Joong-won...

** Green Rose was aired by SBS on March 2005 in Korea, so this must be Goo Soo's latest series.
** Lee Da Hae played Lee Dong Gun's ex-girlfriend, in Sweet 18. She won in the 2005 Baeksang Awards Best Newcomer, so I guess she well, she must be good.
** I Love Goo Soo!! I already loved him when I saw him in arirangtv's comedy sitcom, "My Funky Family" He was not only so so cute there, he was absolutely hilarious!! Believe me the guy can make you laugh!
**This new primetime series casts popular Korean TV stars Ko Soo as Jerome and 2005 Baeksang Awards Best Female Newcomer Da-Hae Lee as Angela. Jong-Hyuk Lee and Seo-Hyung Kim also play special parts in the program.
Korean series normally run for 20 hours, but "Green Rose" is exceptional since its producers decided to extend it to 22 hours because of the good feedback that the show garnered in Korea. In fact, a Japanese company recently acquired the broadcasting rights of "Green Rose" to air the popular series in Japan.
